MISSION/VISION
​Chi Lambda Zeta Chapter recognizes the vital role legacies play in the growth and perpetuation of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. In alignment with the national emphasis on honoring legacies, our chapter proudly celebrates and inducts members who share this special connection to our sisterhood. Our charter legacy club of 45 members was established in 2024. With the induction of two new legacies on February 15, 2025, Chi Lambda Zeta now has a total of 47 legacy members, representing family connections across 20 states.

Our mission is to identify, honor, and engage legacies within Zeta Phi Beta, Inc., fostering a deeper appreciation for our sorority’s rich history and heritage. Our vision is to cultivate a thriving legacy community within Chi Lambda Zeta while increasing participation in state, regional and national legacy initiatives. To achieve this, we will:​

Empower our members to research their family history and identify relatives who are member of Zeta Phi Beta, Inc.

Establish a dedicated communication system to disseminate information about State, Regional, and International Legacy Clubs, including the application process, deadlines and relevant resources.

Actively promote and support membership growth with these legacy clubs.

Recognize and celebrate the induction of new legacies within Chi lambda Zeta, as well as their induction in the State, Regional and International legacy clubs.
